Steve Szoke

...passed away Tuesday. He was 32. He lived with me in my frat for 3 years in college. His wife Candy is a friend to corrie and I also... it's very sad for his family... but also very amazing cause we definitely know where he is. His life honored Jesus and now they get to wrestle together face to face :)

Corrie has been...

really sick this week. She even missed church sunday :( Here first round of bloodtests came back negative today... good news ! She's doing better, but still really weak from dehydration. Keep praying friends, it's working!

Ethne is now crawling forward everywhere and...

she is starting to venture out into adult foods. Pretty cool to see her progression. I'll try and put up some of Zeke doing the same things soon. OH YEAH! and she's got like 4-5 teeth now too :)

Mother's Day Weekend

Every year, we attempt to "stimulate the economy" or at least home depot by putting in flowerbeds for Corrie. This year's task was to put in beds all around the patio and deck. We think it turned out pretty well. We were super exhausted cuz we knew that we had to do it all saturday with the expected storm on Sunday. The ducks were out all day hanging out with us. We transplanted 7 plants from other parts of the yard to keep costs down on the bed. Oh and I thought we'd throw in a pic of my shoes just for grins... I was a muddy mess when finished.
Plus, as always, the kids are cute.

STAFF NIGHT OUT

A customer at Kidd Coffee gave me six FREE tickets to the Reds v. Cubs game on Tuesday night. So, we had a staff excursion. It was nice because last year the Hunleys babysat Zeke, but this year they got to go with us.

Crazy week so far...

monday was so insane with errands and meetings I only made it to the office for an hour and didn't get home till after 8pm.

tuesday i spent in the hospital while my good friend Jane went through back surgery... she came through well... last night we went to Reds v. Cubs (pics later) but i was so wiped out from the day that I wasn't all that into the game... our babysitter last night had to be rushed to the hospital (she's in her 1st trimester with her 1st baby) because of a scare... she came through well too.

wednesday... only God knows, but normal so far :)
