40 Day Journey

Corrie and I (along with some friends) have been on a 40-day prayer journey about our future. We are looking to start a Vineyard in the BloomingtoNormal area sometime in 2015. We are very excited about this and know that the Lord is behind it and already building an amazing team.

Corrie and I are praying about another "adventure" in ministry. For those who are a part of the Vineyard in Central Illinois, you've already heard, but for others… make sure and message us if interested in joining our prayer team.

Welcome to the twins! ...and fun number stuff.

Welcome ELEORA MERRY and EMBERLY PIPPA to our family.

Eleora 6lbs 2 oz

Emberly 4lbs 11oz

both girls were 18.5 inches long

The girls were born on 2-7-14 or as we're calling it "day of double blessing."

As many of you know, in the Hebrews looked at the number 7 as blessing and 14 was double.

• So, born in 2014.
• Born on 7th day.
• Born on 2-7 (2x7 = 14).
• Corrie gave birth during her 14th hour in the hospital.
• And, of course, we are now a family of "7"!

Feeling very blessed!

Mommy and Emberly will be able to go home Monday (10th), but not sure on Eleaora.

Favorite books in the past few months...

Every once in awhile on here, I like to talk about books, CD's or whatever resources have inspired me.

Last year, I read a lot more than I usually do. I enjoyed many of the books I read and studied, but one stood out as not only a good read, but put together logically and could be a good resource for you or your small group to study.

THE GOSPEL in 10 WORDS is my 2013 recommendation.

Also, I am currently reading the follow up book THE GOSPEL in 20 QUESTIONS and really enjoying it. You can check out both books by Paul Ellis on Amazon.

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend!

We kicked off our Christmas series and celebrated Thanksgiving with baptisms this past weekend. Such an amazing thing to be part of 28 people making a public declaration of their death, burial and resurrection IN and WITH Jesus their Lord and Savior. Wow! Praise God for this amazing worship service.
