What is the Waters' family praying about now?

Hello friends! We're asking you to pray for the journey that the Orchard Church is about to embark on with our own building. After being nomads for over 2 years now, we are finally going to have a location to call home for our community. Praise the Lord! From house meetings to a clubhouse to Sunday nights in a warehouse, now we will be located on a major road (Rt 22/3 or Montgomery Road), in the Maineville/Morrow area, a mile from the highschool and right across from one of the elementary schools, and in a great building for our needs. Here's the basics on the building: · Upstairs large worship area with a mix of the modern (totally remodeled ceiling/walls) and the ancient (a few stained glass windows)... very cool · Upstairs large community room with hardwood floors and an enormous kitchen · Upstairs 2 small classrooms · Upstairs office space · Upstairs bathrooms · Downstairs 5 large classrooms · Downstairs 3-4 storage rooms · Good parking · across the street from a park Here are a few ways that we're asking our friends to help us out. Our church feels like this is a HUGE blessing from the Lord and we believe that we can cover the $850 rent for the space, but their are still needs that will need to be met if we are going to turn this building into a place that can revolutionize our community with the gospel of Jesus. Here are the ones that have been discussed by the board and staff so far... 1. Liability Insurance per year $1,000 2. Chairs (approx.) $1,000 or donated folding/other chairs from somewhere (100 to start) 3. Sactuary Carpet Replacement $2,000 4. Paint $200 5. Household Items (toilet paper, cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaner, etc.) $500 6. Exterior cleanup $200 (mow/mulch/etc.) 7. Deposit to the Landlord $800 8. Signs $500 9. Technology $2,000 (screen, mount the projector, sound additions) 10. Chairs/Tables for the children's classrooms/food area 11. Utilities $300 per month 12. Every little bit will help at this point. Corrie and I are so committed to this project that we personally are going to give $500 to get the ball rolling.
