While talking with a good brother of mine who was having a pretty crappy day, I wandered around Family Christian looking at bibles, chord charts and I happened on a couple of albums that caught my fancy. Jason Upton again brings his amazingly prophetic voice to the songs on "Beautiful People." If you're not familiar with Upton, visit http://www.jasonupton.com/ and soak in & buy his cd's if you want. CD number 2 was Agnew's new offering. His deep and powerful lyric is again an "in your face" critic about seeing the church in a new way. He also dives into his own struggles on his journey with Jesus. "On a Corner in Memphis" is an amazing song. www.toddagnew.com On a similar note, I've been listening to Ashley and Matt's Johnson's copy of a Shane & Shane album that I haven't heard in awhile. It's really good stuff.
