Good God moments today...

First, my friend Brian Converse was telling a guy about me and our church at his coffee shop in Landen today. I decided to stop in there to check my email. As he's finishing giving this guy my business card from his bulletin board, Brian turns around and I'm walking into the shop. I spent the next 30 minutes chatting with this guy about ministry... it was totally a God apointed meeting. I didn't even get a coffee... weird.

Second, I was finishing up the cutting down of one of our trees in the courtyard of the church today. As I'm wrapping up, the man next door (Junior) came over with his chain saw to help me. We cut must of the trunk into logs and tossed them in his backyard. I told him to help himself to as much as he wants/needs of the tree. Why? you may ask. Junior heats his house with a woodburning stove... so FREE WOOD... a good thing I think. We cut down a tree to serve the church's needs... God sees an opportunity to show his greatness again by providing for someone else... very cool stuff.
