So, we took a last second trip to Cincy (the less than 24hr. kind) yesterday. Corrie and I drove over after a couple of property inspections in Danville. We had to sign some more paperwork for our house sale. We won't know anything until March 27th, but it was WELL WORTH the trip.
Our incredible friends, Jeff and Rhonda, took us all out to dinner and our other amazing friends, Matt and Ashley, put us up at their hotel de Johnson on last minute notice. WE MISS YOU GUYS A TON!
We got to sample both Grinders Coffee and Kidd Coffee while in town... best 2 cups I've had in 6 months... hands down. We got treated to Benihanna... awesome as usual. We got to laugh and catch up and see everybody's dogs. God is so good to us.
We went back to our house before we left and picked up a couple of toys and a dresser we couldn't fit in the trip back in September when we moved. The house is completely empty. It was a little sad because the new little one won't be born/raised in that house :(
We miss Cincy: favorite food places, stuff to do, our house, and especially our friends. We are still settling into IL. Ohio was our first home as a couple and a large part of us is still there I think.
The trip was safe and we caught 4 more inspections on our way home (Danville, Fithian, Longview and Sidney). We got home to happy kids (Yeah!!!) and took them out to SteakNShake for a cheap supper.

Shout up some prayers. We have ZAP! this weekend. Should be good, if I don't have to work... although work is helpful too :)
