Worshipping Jesus for everything HE's doing right now...

...this has been an incredible couple of weeks. We had a really good trip to Ohio. We took the kids to the zoo, park and the pool while we were there. We got to visit with lots of our friends. It was very relaxing.

When we got home, I hit the ground running for work. Driving Saturday and then every day last week. I did almost 300 inspections in 7 days and also changed my brakes during the middle of the week (benefits of learning things while you are a poor pastor in Ohio...lol).

We had a tremenous baptism service on the 18th at church. Around 40 people were baptized during our 3 services. It was powerful and awesome. One of our small group members was in that group. God is so amazing!

We got to see Corrie's family this weekend, which was really nice. I took Zeke to the Illini spring football game and he got to see the tubas... man was he excited.

Finally, tonight I got to go to Paxton, IL for the first gathering of our possible next multi-site. Over 80 people showed up (60 adults plus kids). Wow!!!! That's a healthy small church already. It will be neat to see what God does over the next 6-9 months as they put together the formal ministry team, do outreach events, grow their small groups and canvas for services.

Finally x2, I have a tremendous small group and a wonderful family. I feel really blessed right now, but man is there a lot going on....lol. Can't wait to see what's next!
