Prayer & Praise List

We are experiencing an amazing series of blessings from the hand of our heavenly Father right now. It is really confirming that we are moving in the right direction for our future as a family. Many of you already know how God rained down on us through the exit of the Orchard. He took care of so many details that do NOT make sense without God's involvement. Recently, we even learned that the landlords had sold the building the very week we left the grounds. So, we would've had to vacate the Morrow facility anyway since our lease was up... WOW! Go God! Anyway, beyond that, here are the praises and prayers that our flowing from Corrie and I's hearts and lips up to heaven right now. Please, intercede with us & praise God with us during this time.
PRAISES
#1 - Corrie has a new full-time job in Champaign.
#2 - Her new job gave us a little money to help with moving expenses.
#3 - We have found a new house to rent AND Tina Thrasher's brother will be our landlord. Amazing!
#4 - We visited with the Vineyard last week and saw 10 people baptized at the 11am service (around 25 adults were baptized during their 3 services). It was wonderful! Both Corrie and I had tears in our eyes as we celebrated Jesus on Sunday.
#5 - Many (if not all) of the former members of the Orchard are getting connected to new church communities. AND many are already jumping in and serving. That's awesome! We are so happy to see everyone continue to grow in their faith during a new season.
PRAY PLEASE
#1 - Adam is looking for part-time work in Champaign.
#2 - We are raising support for our future work (see post from September 2, 2009 on our blog) and have received a few verbal commitments, but nothing concrete yet.
#3 - We are moving the weekend of September 25-27 and will need help and safety for all that weekend.
#4 - Our lawyer and realtor are working with our bank to sell our home in Ohio quickly through an investor. Pray that not only is the timing good, but that it goes off without any difficulties.
#5 - The former Orchard members are still paying down the remaining bills of the church. Things are going well and quicker than anticipated. Praise God! But, there is still a need there.
